In 1972, Günter Kopf founded a beverage delivery service at Litzhurststraße 14 in Kehl-Goldscheuer. Initially, the company mainly supplied private households in the region. Providing equipment for festivals and celebrations also became part of the service early on.
In 1984, marquee hire was added as another area of business. As the range of services grew, the company also invested in an extensive selection of event furniture. When the original premises became too small, a new warehouse and beverage cash-and-carry store were built in the Goldscheuer industrial area.
The new company building at Waseneckstraße 9 opened in September 1996. From there, the business supplies private customers, hotels and restaurants with beverages and supports events with marquees and event equipment.
Matthias Kopf joined the company in 2007, followed by his brother Manuel in 2010. In 2013, Günter Kopf handed the business over completely to the second generation. Since then, Matthias and Manuel Kopf have continued to run the family business together.
Online as Bierfass24 since 2021
The Bierfass24 online shop was launched in 2021. It combines the family business’s many years of experience in the beverage trade with convenient online delivery. The range focuses on beer kegs, including 5-litre party kegs and 6-litre PerfectDraft kegs, as well as selected beverages, glasses and suitable accessories.
Personal support, reliable service and knowledgeable advice remain central to the online business. The company has continued to develop since 1972 – from a regional beverage delivery service to a specialised online shop for beer kegs.
